Box Score Wyoming, MI - The Grace women's soccer team took to Velting Field to face University of Cincinnati-Clermont Saturday afternoon under a beaming sun and temperatures in the mid-80s.  Sophomore Brandy Weaver would score once in each half, and that would be the only scoring to happen between either teams in the game, with the Tigers scoring the 2-0 shutout.  

Weaver's first goal came on a perfectly placed assist from sophomore Maddie Brown, and her second goal came from a very nice set-up from junior Elenrae Befus.  Freshman Regan Befus ended a tremendous week in the goal with a 10 save shutout performance.  The defense held strong for the Tigers, as they were outshot 18-10 but still came away with a quality home victory to move to 2-2-1 on the season.
 
The Tigers return to action next Tuesday in Berrien Springs, Michigan, against Andrews University.
