Box Score Berrien Springs, MI - The Grace Christian University women's soccer team gave up a goal right at the beginning of their game at Andrews University Tuesday evening, but for the final 88 minutes of the game it was all Tigers. Senior
Maddie Brown scored a season-high 4 goals, with sophomore
Jennie Sue Pilieci following up NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week honors with 2 goals of her own. Senior
Haley Threatt also scored for the Tigers, giving them a 7-1 win when it was all said and done.
"After giving up the first minute goal we settled down and played a good game," said Grace Head Coach
Scott Teesdale. "It was really nice to see goals coming off great passes. As a team we moved the ball really well."
The NCCAA #2 Tigers return to their home Velting Field this Friday at 4:30 pm for a match-up with Mount Mary University.
