Wyoming, MI - Grace Christian Baseball's coaching staff will make some changes heading into the 2026 campaign. While Coach Wolfe continues to steer the ship entering his 5th season, some slight changes were made within the assistant coaches.
Coach Bristol, previously an assistant coach, will be elevated to Associate Head Coach, aiding Wolfe with more visionary and strategic planning for the program, along with taking a larger role in recruiting and player development.
Coach Peets will remain as the team's pitching coach, also entering his 5th year with the team, starting with Coach Wolfe from the beginning of the program. Over the summer, Peets served as the Head Coach for the Xenia Scouts, a summer collegiate team based in Xenia, OH sponsored by Athletes in Action. Peets led his team toa. division title int he league and earned Coach of the Year honors for the league.
Coach Egberts joins the staff after completing his playing career for the Tigers last season. Egberts will take on responsibilities with the outfielders, offense, and baseball operations.
Coach Garnaat also joins the staff this year after graduating last year. Garnaat will become the Graduate Assistant not only for baseball but for the athletic department in general, working in the communications realm. Garnaat will have responsibilities with baserunners, the offense and assist with pitchers. Jared spent time this summer assistant coaching for the Chugiak-Eagle Rover Chinooks in the Alaska Baseball League, a summer collegiate team also sponsored through Athletes in Action.
