Berrien Springs, MI - Following a huge win over Moody Bible at home, the Tigers went on the road to Berrien Springs to take on the Andrews University Cardinals. The Tigers secured a 7 point victory the first time these two teams met back in November.
The Tigers were able to take the lead early, but the Cardinals would pick up some momentum keeping a tight game throughout the first half. The Tigers had a 5 point lead heading into the locker room lead by Louie McCloud.Â
The second half would be more of the same as the Tigers remind in the lead and worked hard to not allow the Cardinals to fight their way back. The Tigers would work to close the game out down the stretch and go on to win 83-76 giving them their second win over the Cardinals this season.Â
Louie McCloud led the Tigers with 19 points and 5 assists. Brayden Gable finished the night with 17 points and 8 boards, and Keontae Richards put together a solid evening with 16 points.
The Tigers head back on the road this weekend to take on Emmaus Bible College this Saturda in Dubuque, Iowa.
