Box Score Wyoming, MI – The Grace Tigers put together a very balanced team effort to defeat regional foe Great Lakes Christian College 83-53 Tuesday night in front of a full crowd at the Aldrich Athletic Center.
The Tigers would take an early lead and extend their advantage to 42-19 headed into the halftime break. They would fire on all cylinders to extend their lead all the way to 45 points midway through the second half at 77-32, cruising to victory and halting Great Lakes' four game winning streak.
Grace's bench outscored Great Lakes 50-7, as Head Coach Gary Bailey was able to play every player that dressed between 9 and 21 minutes on the night. Junior Grant Garrison filled the stat sheet for the Tigers with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Senior Adam Rayner finished with 13 points and a team-high 8 rebounds. Freshman DeAndre Metcalf came off the bench to score a career-high 13 points. Sophomore Brandon Winchester-Jones dished out a team-high 6 assists.
The win lifts the Tigers to 11-14 on the season, and they are currently on a three game streak headed into a tough match-up Wednesday night at NCAA DII Northwood in Midland, MI.
