The Grace men's and women's basketball teams will be soaking up the sunshine in Kissimmee, Florida this upcoming week. They will be flying out to enjoy some time off the court before some bigtime basketball games to finish the week off against NCCAA competition.
The men will face Randall University on Thursday night at 7 pm, a team that has knocked them off in overtime each of the last two years in the NCCAA national tournament. Randall is currently #1 in the nation, while the Tigers sit at #4. The Tigers and Saints have developed quite the rivalry for being non-local, as Randall is located in Moore, Oklahoma. Friday they will face host school Johnson University-Florida at 8:00 pm, and then Saturday they will finish things off with a match-up against the #9 team in the NCCAA DII, Trinity Baptist College at 2:00 pm. All three games will be available via live stream (link).
"These will be three very tough NCCAA games," commented Grace Head Coach Gary Bailey. "Our team has been on the road this year as much as we have ever been and hopefully it pays off and we are ready to play."
The women face a tough test in NCCAA DII #2 Pensacola Christian College on Friday night and will take on Florida College (USCAA) on Saturday. The Lady Tigers currently sit at #9 in the NCCAA DII. The game against Florida College will be available via live stream (link).
