Greenville, SC – Championship Week is upon us, and the Grace Christian University men's basketball team will once again go on a quest for an NCCAA DII National Championship in the coming days at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.  The Tigers carry the #2 seed into the tournament and will face the #7 seed Bob Jones University on Thursday night at 8:00 pm to officially start their journey.

"This is always an exciting time of the basketball season," commented Grace Head Coach Gary Bailey.  "We are so happy to receive an at-large bid for this year's tournament and I hope we can make the most of it.  Being ranked number one all year can sometimes be difficult for a coach.  Our guys know that every team is vulnerable and they need to be prepared for every game.  We had a great week of practice and I felt like the energy level had returned.  Playing the host team right out of the gate is never ideal but the guys seem focused and are ready to play whoever they put in front of us.  We have worked very hard to get to this point and I know the players will play with no regrets."

A busy Tuesday kicks off the tournament with the National Awards Banquet, followed by a night of skills challenges, in which Keoante Blackamore (dunk contest), Kellum Bridgeforth (hot shot), and Brandon Winchester-Jones (3-point) will all compete.  The skills challenge and games will all be available to watch at the live stream link at the top of this article.
