Saint Thomas, VI – The Grace Christian University men's basketball program arrived safely in the US Virgin Islands Wednesday afternoon, successfully dodging the Michigan winter for the second short stint this month in some tropical weather.
After settling in Wednesday night, the guys will visit the gymnasium for a practice/shoot-around session on Thursday afternoon, with a good portion of the rest of the day Thursday being spent soaking up the sun by the pool and at the beautiful beach of Saint Thomas.
Friday and Saturday will be all business for the Tigers, as they will face NAIA Division I University of the Virgin Islands on two consecutive days. Grace looks to avenge two losses to UVI back in 2019 around this time of year on the same trip. If the live broadcast works, it will be available at UVI's Men's Basketball Facebook Page,
HERE.
Sunday will be another free day for the Tigers, but they will leave later that night and return to Grand Rapids just past midnight into Monday morning.
