Joplin, MO – As of Thursday afternoon, the NCCAA has announced the cancellation of the 2020 National Tournament for men's and women's basketball.

The Grace basketball family is heartbroken, especially for seniors Brandon Winchester-Jones, Austin Jackson, Adam Kregel, Jason Long, Anthony Kaminski, Keoante Blackamore, Miranda Carlson, Megan Scholtens, Chloe DeVries, and Brandy Weaver.

The men's team was the #1 seed slated to play in the Elite Eight Thursday night, while the women's team had just won their quarterfinal game to advance to the Final Four.

Despite the abrupt end to the season, the purpose of Grace Basketball will always be about much more than a game, and the relationships the teams built and experiences of the 2019-20 season will last a lifetime.  Thank you to all of Grace Nation for your support in 2019-20 and beyond.
