Box Score Somerset, KY - The Grace Christian University men's basketball team capped off a five game stretch throughout the state of Kentucky on a positive note Friday afternoon, defeating Campbellsville University-Somerset, 93-83.
After four straight close games to start the week where a second half run from the opponent would be their demise, they flipped the script on Friday and used a huge run midway through the final period to build a double-digit lead and never looked back, resulting in the 10-point victory.

For the second straight game, junior
Kellum Bridgeforth led the Tigers with 27 points, followed by
Spencer Grant who pitched in 22. The Tigers outrebounded CU-Somerset 46-33, with all five starters pulling down at least 5 rebounds each.
Â
"It's been a long week, and I felt like we got better each game," said Grace Head Coach
Gary Bailey. "It's tough when you have to use games as practice. The guys feel like they have pressure on them to win. We saw real growth all week. It will be nice to get back in the gym for a couple days of practice before we have to play again"

The Tigers return to competition at home next Friday, taking on Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg at 7:00 pm.
