Box Score South Bend, IN – The Grace Christian University men's basketball team started their 2024-25 campaign on fire on the road against the Titans of Indiana University South Bend, knocking down 10 three point shots in the first 10 minutes of the game. They led by as many as 25 points and never gave up the lead, resulting in a 66-59 win over the NAIA contender that hasn't lost 10 games in a season since 2018-19.
The Titans would make their run in the second half and were able to trim the Tiger lead all the way to four points in the waning moments of the game, but Bankeys Omari and Aiden Burns went 6-6 from the free throw line late to not allow a one possession game.

Zac Yorke led the Tigers with 23 points on 7-13 shooting, including the spark at the beginning with 4 straight threes and a timely and-one late in the second half to halt a run from IUSB and shift the momentum of the game. Omari added 13 points a team-high 5 rebounds. Quay Humphries had 11 points and 4 assists.
Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Whiting, IN this weekend for two games: Friday at 6 pm CT vs. Saint Ambrose University (IA) and Saturday at 2 pm CT vs. Calumet College of St. Joseph (IN).
